Mums Christmas survival guide with My Gator Watch

With just over two weeks until Christmas, the countdown is on! As a team of mums ourselves, we know that Christmas can be a pretty stressful time. Your to-do list will be pages long, and it seems like an impossible task to get everything done in time for the big day. This Christmas we want to share some sneaky hacks that might make the Gator Watch not just your kid’s best companion but yours too.

SHOPPING MAYHEM

If you couldn’t find everything that you needed during the Black Friday sales and you have to brave the stores, then lookup shopping centres with kids amusements centres. There are lots of centres all over the country where you can pay a small fee to leave your kids to play while you get your shopping done. Make sure the kids are wearing their Gator while they burn off some energy so you can let them know you are on your way back.

KEEPING TABS OF DAD

Why should you do all the work? After all, Christmas is a “family” affair. Why not send the kids and dad out to run some last-minute Christmas errands for you? We know that lots of dads like to wander off and forget the task in hand. Make sure he has the kids Gator with him so you can call him back if he goes astray.

TAKE A BREATHER

If all that wrapping and organising is driving you nuts, then it’s time to take a breather. Why not go for a peaceful winter walk or if you have the energy, then go for a run? Pop on the Gator watch and leave everything else at home. Including the kids! If your mind wanders back to your to-do list then give them a buzz from the Gator and get them to take control.

KIDS SOCIAL EVENTS

With school now closed for a couple of weeks, we can guarantee that your kid’s social calendar will be far more exciting than yours! Make sure the kids are wearing their Gator this Christmas so that they can enjoy some independence with their friends while you get stuff done.

UTILISE YOUR TIME

We know there are some types of Christmas wrapping you can’t do with the kids around. Finding time to get all their presents wrapped without them walking in can be tricky. Use the Gator to keep tabs on when they will be home so you can get those extra special presents wrapped. And of course, don’t forget to put your feet up with a glass of wine when you are done!

We would love to know what Christmas hacks you have used to make your life that bit easier over the festive period. Join the conversation in the comments below or via our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages.
