My gator watch security first, security forward

Colleen Wong – Founder Techsixtyfour

At Techsixtyfour, the security of our product, My Gator Watch, is of paramount importance. Our business follows IoT security industry best practices as set out by the IoT Security Foundation.

Since 2017, we have come a long way. We have hired a London cyber security firm with industry accepted qualifications to do annual full penetration tests as part of our ongoing commitments to security along with monthly automated vulnerability assessments. We completed our most recent pen test on January 30, 2019.

We are one of the 10% of UK companies that have a vulnerability disclosure policy on our website as we welcome researchers to help us in making our product as safe and secure as possible. We respond within 24 hours to all security researchers, and we are committed to resolving any genuine issues that impact our products or our customers’ security within 90 days. Our most recent fix was completed in 48 hours. We thank Pen Test Partners for reporting the vulnerability.

We appreciate when security researchers disclose vulnerabilities to us. We ask that security researchers view our vulnerability disclosure policy and cooperate with us to ensure that vulnerabilities are fixed as quickly as possible.

We are a small business, and we care deeply about the data security of our customers. We work with security experts to ensure that we are focusing on security now and security forward.

Please email us at security@techsixtyfour.com if you have any questions or comments.
